Larry Kleeman presented for discussion Resolution #10-01 Calling and Providing for the giving of Notice of a Public Hearing on the advisability of the making of certain internal improvements in the City of Eastborough, Kansas, under the provisions of K.S.A. 12-6A01 ET SEQ., as amended and supplemented; and providing for the giving of notice of said hearing (paving improvements/Woodlawn Heights).

Kleeman also mentioned that a temporary note may be needed before the funds are issued.

The estimated cost of the project, based on Option #2, is $800,000. The cost will be assessed as follows: 95% (City wide) and 5% (Woodlawn Heights' residents). The process will include (a) Resolution; (b) Special Hearing, May 25, 2010, 5:30pm City Hall; Adoption of Resolution. Written protests must be submitted within 20 days after publication of the resolution.

Brown moved to approve the preliminary estimates of a 10 year Special Assessment; Mastio seconded; passed unanimously.

Johnson moved to adopt Resolution #10-01; Brown seconded; passed unanimously

Johnson moved to approve the underwriting agreement; Brown seconded; passed unanimously.
