On Saturday, April 12th, 2014 at 8:30 am, the Girl Scouts of America will be hosting the first annual Thin Mint Sprint 5k that will begin at 360 Lexington Rd. at the Girl Scouts of America Headquarters. Some streets in Eastborough are included in the course and may be partially blocked between 8:00am until 9:10am.
The Race Committee will work with volunteers as well as Wichita and Eastborough Police departments to get residents in and out of the area. Please be aware that there may be some brief delays.
I would like to invite anyone who is interested to attend the Severe Weather Safety Program being held at Eastborough City Hall on February 26th at 6:30 PM. The Police Department has sponsored this program for a number of years. It is open to the public, so anyone can attend. I have always found them to be very informative and interesting. Several children have attended with their parents and always enjoyed it. The program will last approximately two hours. So once again, save the date, see you then.
